I have 4 Samsung TVs that I occasionally use to monitor BI. I just upgraded BI from v4 to v5 (UI3 version 218, Blue Iris version: 5.5.8.2 to be exact) and now, on the newer Samsung, BI doesn't load. Allcams.htm is no longer available on BI5 so can't fallback to that.

Any help getting this working would be appreciated!

Hi.

TVs unfortunately have really bad web browsers that don't follow standards very well and they don't get updated very often (yours seems to be based on Chrome 47 which was from 2015!!) so stuff gets broken.

There is a line number within the error message you screenshotted, and that line number indicates there was a video decoding error. If you can, get into the Streaming Quality list and change to Jpeg HD.

@bp2008 Brian,
Not trying to hijack the OP's issue but in a situation like his with the Samsung's "old" browser, could a Fire Stick plugged into its HDMI port which has a later version of Chrome for Android possibly work better?

Absolutely. I can't vouch for any particular TV streaming stick, but anything running modern Chrome should work.

Yeah, I think I have the same issue with my Samsung HDTV. I wonder if Roku would work...not sure if Roku even has a browser.
