UK price £53.05 / US price $59.99 ??

Hi,

I convinced a friend to buy Blue Iris, but when we came to purchase the licence he was shocked to find that instead of it being $59.99 (roughly £38) it was asking him to pay £53.05 instead. Is this a mistake?

Are there any promotional codes available at the moment? He is very keen to purchase, but is understandably a bit upset at the fact that the price is almost the same in UK pounds as it is in US dollars.

Thought so at first, but $59.95 is just under £41 according to current exchange rates.

What website is he buying from? IF from the blue iris website make sure to uncheck the worthless download protection option-the payment processor adds that...
That plus the 20 percent tax (VAT) would explain the difference.

He's been trying to buy it using the link in the Blue Iris 4 application splash screen (where it tells you how many days are left in evaluation, etc).

As you can none of the addons are in the cart. Those just add even more to the price.

With 20% vat it should be 48...not sure why its 5 more...
