After going through all the steps through the app I’m unable to connect. I see that the LAN IP and WAN IP all match up to what’s on the pc. I don’t get how to troubleshoot this.

For clarity, you are trying to connect the BI mobile app to your BI server?

Are you attempting to connect with the app via your local wifi, or via your devices cellular connection?

+1^^.

If attempting remote access via WAN (away from your home), you'll either have to forward a port in your router (not recommended) or set up a VPN (recommended)

That is correct. Im trying to connect the mobile app to the server. And I’m on my home WiFi right now, nothing over WAN.

You set up a user and password in BI that you're using in the apps logon, correct?
In the LAN setting of the app, do you have something like below? BI's port must be in the URL and no port forwarding required if attempting to access via LAN.

Code:
http://Your-BI-Server-LAN-IP:BI-port
such as http://192.168.1.200:81

Lastly, can you access from your LAN the BI server's UI3 with this URL below?
Code:
http://Your-BI-Server-LAN-IP:BI-port/ui3.htm

So that’s kind of the thing. I don’t remember setting up a username and password for BI on the PC. And I can’t find anywhere where that info might or where to recover it.

Wouldn't you think that is the first thing to mention? Rather than saying it wont connect, say I dont know the user/pass and THAT is why it wont connect...

You’re right. That was wrong of me. I didn’t think that was related because the error didn’t mention anything of the sort. I didn’t recall setting up a username which kind of made me think it defaulted to admin.
