Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for finding new cameras on the LAN while they are plugged into router.

I just replaced a few cameras that finally died after 4 years of constant use.

I just got some cheap one's like Sricam and Floureon.

My ip scanning software is not seeing them.

No software came with cameras.

Thank you!

Umm, you generally don't plug them into the router. Unless there's a POE injector you haven't mentioned or a 12v power supply? Seems like some details are missing, like how they're powered and how your router is configured (192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1). Might be as simple as changing your router from 0.1. to 1.1 to be able to see them, assuming they're powered up. Mentioning the brand and model might help as well. Someone might know the default IP address for those particular cams.
