So I have a location where I have a 4300C and today I went to log into the camera and it won't let me put in the admin or it ends with admi and when I put in the n it removed it. I thought maybe keyboard issue so I changed out my keyboard for one of my others and still the same issue. then if I press the n so there is like 5 or more I can go back to where there was just 1.. Then because the camera is older the password is as complex as it was able for its time lol. Anyway same issue in the password box.. Even if I type it out in browser bar, cut and paste it the password don't retain all digits. I can still see the camera on the NVR it is connected to.. The camera hasn't been hacked, although it could be if it wasn't behind a so may layers but also sits behind a NVR and that NVR don't have access to the Internet either so it is only local access to that NVR on 1 computer on Vlan, So I thought ok lets try it without being connected to the NVR and connected to open switch port in same Vlan and still camera is acting up. .

Anyone have this issue and what was the way to correct it?

Thank you

I have had that happen a few times and I had to delete all the plug-ins from the browser.

In one instance I had to even delete the browser and reinstall.

Thanks for the reply. Well I don't know what the issue is but I seen that the Edge IE tab expired for the camera. Adding it back it don't act that way in the IE tab. i normally try to log into all my cameras to keep them going before the end of the 30 days. I personally think it is BS that once it is setup that it expires after a month.. Anyway Thanks again. It is working correctly in IE mode in Edge now. Still acts strange in Normal format and find that odd. Setup a couple of computers to work in the Vlan and they are also acting the same way.. I wonder if it is something in the computers that I have added because I thought I would add my Linux box to the Vlan and see what it does so maybe I could track down what the issue is. However in my Linux box it don't act that way.. I was starting to think it was something caused by how I have it connected but I am smarter than that lol.. This year that location might get a new mini camera. It is time to do the Gel Packs in the camera so I might as well just put in a newer AI camera seeing only have a few that are not Ai in nature some form. This camera has been there at that location for 8 years now.
