Unable to use H.265+ , need help

I need help pls. how to enable H.265+, both my NVR & IP Camera seems to support it. I might be missing some thing,its just gray out. Unable to put check on the box.

NVR Model: DS-7608NI-Q1
IP Camera: HWI-D121H

Yes, it show H.264 & H.265 only, no H.265+ on the drop down menu.

I wonder if you have to program the camera itself to H.265+? Your max bitrate(Kbps) is on the low side. Maybe you need to at least double that if not more. Also I take it that the camera in question is indeed plugged into port 1 of the NVR and not port 2 for example?

Ive tried it buddy... set everything to the highest even to the lowest setting, switch port 1& 2 and restore the nvr to default. What makes more weirder is that even the H.264+ also gray out. Any thoughts?

Long shot suggestion - if the camera actually has 'smart events' - try disabling the smart events and see if that brings up the h.265+ enable.

No smart events, but i disable motion detection recording and still the same.

On my older NVR I could not get the H.265 to work even though it was advertised for H.265. Eventually I upgraded the software to the latest version and bingo the H.265 worked. I do not know if that is your problem as your NVR appears to be newer.

I thought about that, so i check the hikvision site for firmware. I got sad, i have the latest version installed.

Can you enable it on the camera via web interface?

If you still can't - try doing full camera reset and then try enabling it immediately afterwards (maybe there's some other setting you have enabled which conflicts with the "+" function).

I see it now why my nvr cant support it, my ip cam model: hwi-d121h dont show H.265+ option when i check via web gui

But it advertise i have it.as shown here.

Are the cams originals or Chinese clones? If clones then I don’t know and would suggest that all bets are off.

Check if the camera supports H265. From a browser amend and paste:
http://192.168.1.xx/ISAPI/Streaming/channels/1/dynamicCap
Enter admin login and password if prompted.
Look for:
<videoCodecType>H.265</videoCodecType>
<isSupportProfile>true</isSupportProfile>
<isSupportSVC>true</isSupportSVC>
