Hi, I just purchased a used Hikvision NVR DS-9632NI-I8. The seller said it was only used for demonstration purposes in a shop, when I asked if they could unbind it before sending it to me they didn't seem to know what I meant by bound to an account.
Is it possible to unbind it myself once I recieve it ?

Thanks

You got a bargain there. I was tempted, especially with the 4TB drive.
But it's a big beast, and I already have one.

Maybe it's not been bound to an account. What makes you think it was?

This may help :

Hi Alastair, yeah it looks like a bargain that I also didn't need :) but a little bit of retail therapy was needed as I'm stuck working away outside the UK and it gives me something to look forward to when I can get home.

I just thought I would ask the seller about unbinding it just in case it was.

What are your thoughts on this model ?, I think for me its probably massive overkill as I'm only running six 4mp Colorvu cameras but I'm a sucker for a bargain.
