Purchased from Andy a couple of years ago and it has been working well since.
Recently, I noticed it no longer appeared in the NVR.

The clues:
  • It powers up on PoE connection, or via DC adapter and IR illuminators turn on in darkness.
  • Switch shows PoE powered, but no link light
  • Reset attempts do nothing
  • Network scans show nothing.
  • Cleaned Ethernet connection and opened up to check for damage.
So - it appears to have lost Ethernet(?)
Any hard reset or other suggestions?

SOLVED
Sharing solution for others.

The interface cable itself was bad. This is a weak point in the design, as I've had others do the same. To test the theory, I swapped the cable with an Amcrest (lower quality Dahua), same cable.
Then I cut off the bad Ethernet socket and installed a standard keystone jack. The unexpected discovery was they use the same color wires and matching punch down locations as the T568B standard.
I sure spent a lot of time tracking wires before realizing this.
The camera works again.

Red and black are audio, the others are CAT-5 standard colors.
CORRECTION: Red and black are power.

Wow, good catch. I've not had any problems with the cable myself. We're you able to get a new cable through the back of the camera case? My only experience was salvaging a cable from a hikvision camera and I had to destroy the case to get the cable out intact.
