In order to unsubscribe from the emails of ipcamtalk, you have to login, is it lawful?
Clicking on the link in the email doesn't work, it ask you to login first.

Would you prefer that just anyone be able to make changes to accounts that you've created without logging in? :idk:

We dont give a FUCK if its lawful. You are an asshole! Sue me from Canada, prick. You made your account in October 2022, sponged off the information here like a parasite and your first post here is questioning the legality of the unsubscribe function? As has been pointed out you need to login to make changes to your account. Duh. This entire issue is our fault though. We failed to mention a minimum of an 80 IQ is required before joining the forum.

Ungrateful much? Take the trouble to log in and create a thread as the first post to whine about your inconvenience of unsubscribe to the forum. When you could easily just log in and unsubscribe and go on your merry way without being a prick about it after using the forum resources for free.:wtf:

I believe you are thinking of being on a mailing list where you can simply hit "unsubscribe" and be done after you confirm the action.

IPCT is not a mailing list, it is a discussion forum.

Receiving emails from IPCT will not happen until you first create a user account, login, then post to or follow (aka watch) discussion threads as said user. As this thread is your first ever post, you obviously have voluntarily chosen to watch threads over time which, in turn, notifies you via email when the thread(s) have new activity.

In order to "unwatch" a thread, you are required to login so the message board software can track which threads your username is watching. This is how most systems provide the customized content of your choosing. FYI, the "unwatch" button is located at the top right of the respective thread you have previously contributed to or chosen to "watch".
