Thank you so much guys, finally i was able to eshablish the connection between my
Uniview NVR and Hikvision IP cameras.
I followed all the steps you provided and conducted additional research.
These are the summary of the steps i followed
ON THE HIKVISION IP CAMERAS
1. I reset the cameras using the Hik-Patner Pro
2. Activated the camera using SADP
3. Log in to the cameras using the new password i created on the web
4. Sync the time with my pc
5. Changed the IP's to match the NVR IP's
6. Enable onvif,
7. Change the authentication method to "Digest&ws-username tokencreated an onvif account and made it as an operater
8. Create a dedicated ONVIF username and password
9. Disable illegal login lock
ON THE
UNIVIEW NVR
1. Connected the cameras to the PoE port of the NVR
2. Click on add on the
Uniview NVR’s web interface to add the camera under setup>camera>camera
3. Protocol - ONVIF
4. IP Camera should be the same as the camera’s IP address
5. The port is HTTP port 80 (by default).
6. Admin username and password was the ONVIF username and password I created in Step 8 (ON THE HIKVISION IP CAMERA)
7. Waited for some few second (10secs) and it worked like magic
I shut down the NVR and turn it on again, it pick the cameras automatically and started showing the live feed but the time on the feed was wrong.
