Agreed @IAmATeaf I just downloaded the zip file from the site for my NVR. Now I have extracted the zip and there are four files.
DH_NVR5xxxx.bin
Flash.bin
install.lua
partiontable.bin
What is the recommended way to update the firmware of the NVR? I have researched a bit but there seem to be many different methods. I just would like to avoid bricking the NVR and other devices I am trying to do updateds for. Thanks for the help!

I was able to update my firmware on the NVR through smart pss. You just select the DH_NVR*.bin file. It is pretty simple.
However, under devices in smart pss I only have the NVR listed. I would like to upgrade their firmware but am not sure on how to update them individually.
