I updated today and stopped getting reliable information. Each time I check the status, it's in a "Lost Contact" State. Has anyone else updated and has a similar issue? I just updated .Net even though the installer did some other versions also to see if that was it.
also downloaded previous version incase I need to roll back

Did you uninstall and delete the previous version first or did you install over it?

Best practice is to clean install it. I had troubles every update if I tried to shortcut it LOL.

I have to ask this one also, Code Project was in the Wind, Shut down, Blue Iris leaning to another Blue Candle option, then all sudden Code project has update and Modules install again, and their site no longer says Woe is me were done, any one see any news about this are they back or just a new breather got some funding or what happened?

Code Project as we use it has moved to Github.

I've been having that lost contact for the past few versions. Even though it doesn't seem to be working from the dashboard, it's still working in BI

but it misses, thats what i saw why it took me a minute to figure out, I would get detections then it would gag and miss a few and recover. I did what the guys suggested above and working good now.

I updated to 2.9.5 and in Settings>AI choosing Autostart/cofigure and an OK confirmation opens a window with "Could not start check path.
Choosing instead to Open AI dashboard, a window opens with "Hmmm... can't reach this page, 127.0.01 refuses to connect".
The grey "Start now" option is unresponsive.

Earlier I uninstalled my previous version of CP, did a search to check for the removal of CPAI which found nothing to remove,
I installed dot NET 9
After a reboot I installed the CP 2.9.5 I had downloaded. I mostly followed the default selections during the install though on completion when it asked if i wanted to open the CP Dashboard it didn't. I have not seen this behavior before when I have installed previous updates to CP.

A reinstall of 2.9.5 was not successful.

Any suggestions?

edit: I have just noticed that BI has a red message below my alerts, files: (54469 / 8842 GB)
Drives over quota
I'm going to see about reducing my stored Alerts .... the red warning has now gone.

I've got 2.9.5 working just a few moments ago.
Yesterday I did update Visual Studio from version 17.11.6 to 17.12.3, though that did not seem to help, but dot Net 9 seems to require this newer Visual Studio version.

This morning I uninstalled the previous version of dot NET 9 ( perhaps the one that said Desktop)
I followed the download link in github CodeProject Issues to install a slightly different version of dot NET 9.
(Download .NET 9.0 SDK (v9.0.101) - Windows x64 Installer)
I repeated the install process of CP 2.9.5 without removing it.
After a cold reboot it is working, early days though.

edit: Though the CP dashboard was working I noticed that AI was not delivering Alert clips when a camera was triggered. I had both YOLOv5 6.2 and YOLOv5.NET modules installed and active, uninstalling the latter module Alert clips started to show again in Blue Iris as expected.

I'm going to wait a few days to see what you all think before updating mine again. :)

Whilst waiting perhaps you check what version of Visual Studio you have installed and update if appropriate.
Perhaps an install of dot NET 9 by following the link would probably be unlikely to upset your current running version of CodeProject

I bit the bullet and updated this morning. Installed the .net 9 above first, then to 2.9.5. Seems to have went smoothly..
