Updating laview firmware to hikvision

Any luck with updating laview to hikvision?
I have this camera:
LV-PTM6040W
LaView IP Cameras

which is basically this one:
DS-2CD2342WD-I 4MP WDR EXIR Turret Network Camera-Hikvision

So I am trying to install the hikvision firmware to laview, but no luck.
Using this method:

The problem is, when I reboot the camera, it never tries to connect to 192.168.1.128 to tftp.

I have the similar problem (Do not upgrade to 5.6.0!!! Much worser exposure/focus performance)
Looks like hikvision quietly changed the way their TFTP works.

Looks like hikvision quietly changed the way their TFTP works.

I more inclining toward this particular camera model does not use TFTP or something. I was trying to listen its TCP request and it never tried to connect to a server after boot up.
They are saying it should send ARP requests like: "Request who-has 192.168.1.128", but I never saw one.
