Upgrade chinese Fisheye DS-2CD6362F-IS to 5.3.5

Hi,

to get new Fisheye parameters and solve problem of connection lost (after a few month) I want to upgrade the Fisheye camera to latest firmware.

Anyone did this before can help?

On Hikvisioneurope Website there is an intermediate firmware and a final. Can I just patch this for Europe (language code) and flash?

I have one from grey market which is in chinese 5.3.5.

if you upgraded the Chinese version. it will became all Chinese. if you want English. you need to use MTD hack. I did two half year ago.

No I did actually not upgrade it.

It came with the chinese language.

I have one camera from china which is hacked and one which is not. The new one does not support telnet and has stock chinese firmware. Any other way to get into it and hack the mtdblock?

The firmware seems not encrypted I could use the tool to unpack a chinese 5.3.5 digicap.dav

Can you explaine more how hack FW by MTD hack ? I have model DS-2CD2035-I with FW hacked 5.3.6 multilanguage buy from china aliexpress and i want update this FW to version 5.4.0 also with multilanguage. I found on china hikvision page FW 5.4.0 http://www1.hikvision.com/cn/download_more_714.html#prettyPhoto

You wont have SSH or Telnet root on 5.3.x so you can't hack MTD.
