Upgraded PC and now recordings dont get saved in :\Stored folder?

I will be honest i still don't understand this whole cascading saving of recording in BI and New>Stored>others... Probably due to my English or something.
Its the same config from the last rig i had except i changed "new" folder to limit clip age 1 day instead of 14 like i had before.

1. Does the 'New' directory exist on the D: drive? (I am guessing that it is a new, freshly formatted spindle drive)
2. if New and Stored are on the same drive, there is no benefit (and some performance hits) to using both of them. Set your system to save the files to New. Turn off limit clip age and set the retention to the max using limit size (if the drive is not used for anything else, use the total drive storage amount minus about 10%).

Yes both folders are on the same HDD, i changed the settings. Does it look right? "Stored" folder with 0 G and no limit clip age.
I guess I can set "new" folder with no limit too but I really only need 14 days of recordings.
