America has 3rd highest murder rate in the world (take out five top Democrat-run cities and we’re 189th)
It is common for gun control zealots to bloviate about how the United States is such a violent country, and others such as Canada’s dictator in chief Justin Trudeau using the crime rate in the United States as justification to seize firearms from his citizenry.
And yes, the United States is ranked third when it comes to our murder rate.
Now, want to know a dirty little secret? If you remove the following cities—Chicago, Detroit, Washington, DC, St. Louis and New Orleans—from the equation, the land of the free and home of the brave slips all the way down to 189 out of 193.
So what gives? Democrats want to take guns away from an overwhelming majority of law-abiding, God-fearing citizens because five Democrat-run cities can’t control their population?
Heck, New York City and Philadelphia aren’t even included on that list. Add them in and we’re probably swimming with the fishes.
So what gives? Well in at least three of them, there are George Soros-funded soft-on-crime DAs there. All one has to do is watch the news or look online and the evidence is there for all to see.
For example in New York City, Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg continues to let violent criminals out on the streets, many out before the ink on the arrest report is dry. Then the offender often is caught again committing a violent crime, only for the cycle to repeat itself—wash, rinse, repeat.
In Chicago, DA Kim Foxx, when she’s not busy slapping her husband around, has a virtual revolving-door policy when it comes to even the most violent criminals in the city. The result has been out-of-control violent crime and murder rates which again threaten the record books.
So what is the common denominator? They’re all run by Democrats. It matters not how much money is directed to feel good programs, or improving schools, or criminal justice reform. The results are the same.
The elephant in the room in many of these communities is the fact there is no male influence in the family, so the young boys and men get their influence from gang-banging thugs, who for some of them is the only “family” they have. But you cannot talk about that, the whole “male-dominant society” thing and all.
For the most part, crime has been relegated to the big cities and overall that is still the case, although there has been a bit of “crime creep” out into the suburbs. However the crime rates in those suburbs when compared to their big city neighbors is statistically near zero.
According to the Global Peace Index, indeed the United States currently ranks 128th as far as being the safest country in the world. Murder is obviously a huge factor in those statistics.
