So... anybody else notice how the biggest shenanigans always seem to happen after business close on a Friday so that it's stale news come Monday? Well, the 14th vote for Speaker is going to happen at 10pm tonight. Any body want to bet against McSwamp getting voted in as Speaker tonight?
I'm more pissed the number of people voting for someone OTHER than McSwampAssCarthy decreased instead of increased today.
My thoughts on this:
a) they just wanted it all to be over with and go away (seriously poor choice)
b) they were told to let it go and it would be addressed in the VERY near future. (hopeful thinking)
c) their lives and/or families were threatened (what I HATE thinking)
What I'm reading at Just The News tells me the people who flipped to supporting McCarthy received promises in exchange for their votes.
I do believe we all understand, unless that promise came from DJT, it's not worth soiled toilet tissue, because it's the fucking Washington, DC swamp.

Interesting to watch the screen, when the congressmen are asked to vote electronically, and then the democrats numbers keep changing on the "yea's". One would think, once you locked in your vote, it couldn't be changed. Is the houses electronic voting system controlled by Dominion??
