US Elections (& Politics) :)

I strongly suspect several hundred thousand "federal employees" will be looking for work, VERY SOON.
I doubt it. But they should.

I'm not up to speed on Gov DeWine of Ohio, isn't he considered a bit of a rino? He will be appointing a replacement for J.D. Vance, wonder who we'll get?
I hear people there want Vivek, but there is very slim chance that RINO DeWine will appoint him. Also it depends on what Vivek wants but he is already leading every poll whether its for senate seat or the 2026 Ohio Governor position, the margin of advantage Vivek has in the polls is more then all others potential contenders combined. It all depends on what cabinet position Trump offers him considering his skill set and intelligence.

There is also a new idea floated around that JD be both the VP and retain the senate seat. No idea if its legally possible.

No matter how much you hate FEMA, it isnt near enough...FEMA needs to be scrapped. They provide no useful service to Americans. It's just a money laundering operation for their "preferred vendors" and various government bureaucrats.

Where's that asshole that was defending them?

FEMA is cordially invited to suck on the blunt end of a stick of TNT while we light it up.

TREASON: Military Brass Holding ‘Informal Discussions’ on How to Override Trump 47’s Orders

US military brass does not believe in accountability. So, it’s not surprising that Pentagon brass recently met to discuss how they can override Trump 47’s orders.
Far-left CNN reported:
Pentagon officials are holding informal discussions about how the Department of Defense would respond if Donald Trump issues orders to deploy active-duty troops domestically and fire large swaths of apolitical staffers, defense officials told CNN…

…Trump in his last term had a fraught relationship with much of his senior military leadership, including now-retired Gen. Mark Milley who took steps to limit Trump’s ability to use nuclear weapons while he was chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The president-elect, meanwhile, has repeatedly called US military generals “woke,” “weak” and “ineffective leaders.”

Anyone that participated needs to be court-martialed.

He would not do that. This is liberal drivel. But I do believe that Biden drafted an order that would allow the President to do just that. So I guess it is OK if the Dem president does this, but not the Republican one?

fire large swaths of apolitical staffers
Again, that really is not possible. There are rules/laws that make firing federal employees practically impossible.
