US Elections (& Politics) :)

So with future Tariffs coming, probably a good idea to buy more cameras from Andy...I guess I know what I am getting for Christmas :)

I got an email from Rand Paul today asking who should be the next Senate majority leader. The choices were Thune, Cornyn, and Scott. I voted for Scott. I wished they had a place for comments as I would have really liked to tell him what I think of Cornyn.

I stopped getting emails from Cornyn when I answered one stating that I would never vote for him and would actively campaign against him in any primary.
Did you get a text from Ken Paxton, Nov. 9th is when the wife and I got ours, about the Texas House speaker of the house?

Open senate seats in Florida are filled by the governor, then up for election in the next special election. Open house seats are filled only by a special election, so if Trump pulls republicans out of the house, those votes will be unavailable for a while.

I hope over the next year that CNN, MSNBC etc go bankrupt because no one watches. Especially if RFK says pharmaceutical companies can’t advertise.

I can see them coming to look for a handout and Trump tells them to fuck off.

Also they should defund NPR.
Defunding NPR (National Partisan Radio) , and PBS (Partisan Broadcasting Service) should be on day one.

I'll breathe easier once Trump is actually in office, I'm concerned about what kind of dirty tricks the Dems are gonna try to keep him out of office.

Excerpt:

Marn'i Washington said that FEMA has a widespread policy of avoiding "politically hostile" homes..."

What the Hell does "politically hostile" mean? You mean like the crowds burning down Portland and Minneapolis or the Pro-Palestine protesters at Columbia University and other eruptions since 2020 that are too numerous to recall? NO? Is it because the aforementioned violent protesters are NOT mainly right-leaning conservatives? And you're telling me that these people in FL, GA, TN and the Carolinas that are victims of a natural disaster and are in dire straits are threatening you and your teams if you reach out and help them? Is that what "politically hostile" means? Can you cite some examples? Inquiring minds want to know.

My gut feeling is you're a bigot trying to cover your own ass and decided ON YOUR OWN to do your part to help the election by deciding to not help these right-leaning, mostly white, Trump supporters.

YOU HAD ONE JOB!!! AND WERE GETTING PAID TO DO IT!!!

Vivek finally got the position he always was passionate about that he talks in his book. He has been saying "shut it down" since Jan 2023. Trump and even Trump Jr was shy about implementing this, even after Vivek said it to Trump Jr face in his own podcast.

But it took Elon Musk money and influence to make it happen, otherwise they would have just replaced the head of the departments.
Elon and Vivek have been discussing about firing 70% since last November.

The DOGE commission will cease to exist by July 2026 and Vivek will likely run for the governor of Ohio in 26.

This way Elon can still be the CEO of his companies and they also both don't need a senate confirmation, where the Rinos for sure would have blocked them.
