PS: Today I got a letter and survey from Donald Trump. It is marked as the '2025 Critical Issues Survey' but really it is just a fund-raising campaign. The very first thing on the paper is a section titled 'Registration Validation'. You are given two options:

Check an amount for your donation ($35-$3500) or

Check the box that say you cannot afford to donate 'at that level right now', but you will enclose $15 to 'help pay for the cost of processing my Critical Issues Survey'. So basically, they are saying it costs more than $15 to 'process' the survey. I doubt it cost that much to throw it away after getting the payment charged.

^^^Yes, that is the case as I see it. Trump is acting different than before. Months ago I said I was afraid he was trying to do too much too quickly. Too many irons in the fire. I agree with a lot of the things he does, and dissagree with a lot of other things he does. But it is better than having Harris as POTUS. At least so far it is.

I truly wish Vivak had run against Harris. A lot of the problems are that it is all about Trump, TDS, not so much as about conservatives.

The thing is, he will not end the IRS. He will not annex Canada or Greenland. He will not deport all of the illegals. Hell the courts are stopping him from deporting the violent ones, they will never allow him to deport the non-violent ones. The DOGE savings keep disappearing from the website. Congress is not even trying to codify any of his orders. They are not doing shit.

In four years the dems will have the WH again. And we will be back in the same shit show.

I feel the same. Its not looking good.

I think we'll see some arrests soon, they are feeling the heat, but I feel like its going to be mostly for show. We'll get some red meat for the "MAGA or Death" crowd, but it won't amount to much.
The IRS, Canada/Greenland (Remember Gaza?) SS rebates, Iran, No taxes on X, X, or X, lotsa stuff that never should have come out of his mouth.
I feel like Elon has seen enough, he knows Congress isnt going to do much more than Dog and Pony show, much of his work for nothing.
To many RINO's being appointed, RFKjr has been muzzled, Pam a total disappointment.
Feel Like Kash and Dan B have been hung out to dry
They WILL lose the House in '26
So much opportunity squandered.

Could be the Swamp was just to much to overcome.

Agreed. Democracks stick together, a few may stray but nothing like RINOs, they are the worse...John Cornyn is a good example, even the younger Dan Crenshaw, they are sellouts...speaking from a Texas.

So who can you replace them with, younger more Progressives, sadly? Each generation is weaker/spineless than the previous. Our educational system did this...IMO...even if you raise them right, once they go to college it is a crapshoot with most turning Progressive and to Socialism/Communism. Hard Work ethics goes out the window.

People are whining about 40 hour weeks these days...REALLY, I use to work 80 minimum. I even worked 3 days straight once, 22 hour days, only 2 hours to go home and shower. I remember sleeping the whole next day Heck I even had 3 jobs once.

Sadly, we have become a nation of Whiners...as most of the West has...

Flooding the zone those first 30 days might have been smart tactics but it’s puttering.

Inflation fell to zero in March, a welcome reprieve after persistent inflation under President Biden and the best reading in nearly five years, even as consumer spending accelerated sharply and incomes rose solidly — a powerful signal of economic improvement at the start of the Trump administration.

The Federal Reserve’s preferred inflation gauge, the personal consumption expenditures (PCE) price index, was flat in March, according to data released Wednesday by the Bureau of Economic Analysis. Core PCE — which strips out food and energy — was also unchanged, marking the tamest monthly inflation reading since early 2020.

Compared with a year ago, the PCE index is up 2.3 percent and the core index is up three percent, both below the month-earlier figures. The Federal Reserve says it targets two percent inflation when making monetary policy.

President Donald Trump anticipated the fall in inflation at a rally Tuesday night in Michigan.

“Inflation is basically down and interest rates came down despite the fact that I have a Fed person who’s not really doing a good job, but I won’t say that,” Trump said.
