So they fired 76,000 IRS employees. Sounds like a win. And we don't know -- not even by percentage, how many they now recognize are needed back.
BigRedFish--- I am right here with you on criticizing the fiscal insanity of the B-B-Bill and Trump's INACTION to make meaningful spending cuts, but I am not ready to throw in the towel on the direction of this Presidency. It doesn't matter who is in the office-- they will do shit I don't agree with. It really sucks that we have to think in terms of "lesser of two evils" every four years, but the reality is that Harris would have been a complete fucking trainwreck with doubling down on woke bullshit and racist affirmative action policies across our government at all levels. And that fiscal irresponsibility would have been AMPLIFIED under her because Dems don't even make an effort to budget in ways to live within our means (not that the GOP is effectively any better at that).
I guess I'm riding it out and taking notes. We all know we need some deep reform, and there are systemic problems in government and bureaucracy that threaten all of our freedoms. For that reason, I will keep my powder dry.
In the meantime--- KEEP POSTING! I am strapped for time lately, but your posts highlight a lot of different problems going on that I have not been aware of (and likely would not have known about).
