DC is murder-free thanks to Trump — but his haters won’t accept reality

Democrats are still in denial about Washington, DC’s crime problem, and decrying President Donald Trump’s intervention — but it’s time they face reality.

Over the last 12 days, as Trump federalized the DC police force and deployed federal officers on district streets, the city’s shockingly high murder rate screeched to a halt.

No homicides were recorded at all in that time frame, a sharp, statistically significant drop that’s far too large to dismiss as mere chance. . . .

Statistically, compared to the homicide rate during the first seven months of this year, the odds of that happening by chance are just 0.37%, or 1 in 272.

Compared to 2024 — when the district recorded 187 homicides, or nearly one every other day — the odds shrink to 0.21%, or 1 in 478.

Few gamblers would take those odds in a bet.

Of course, these calculations rely on the district’s reported homicide numbers — which may be artificially low. . . .

It clearly works. No debate there.

Is this how we want all of our major cities to be? Where do we draw the line? or dont we?

I am ok with temporary, it is not like when Biden wanted to round up Patriots or those who did not take the Clot Shot.

I am ok with him going into 20 states, it will mainly be the Democrack ran cities. I am thinking the Guard will assist ICE or atleast be present and that is one of the goals of this. DC needed a crime cleaning...

In Texas I am curious which cities...as I am sure you are to in Florida. Texas has Austin, our most Democrack city, yes sadly our capitol, but it is also a College town so you know there will be protest...

Austin is peanuts compared to Houston.

What's temporary? What does the next guy in office do?

I'm surprised Dallas has gone so liberal (lived there for 25 years) and full apparently of immigrants from India/Pakistan from what friends are telling me.

Here's its Miami and Tampa

I see a lot of what turns Americans into Panicans as being a temporary situation. Only time will tell. When order is restored and all is right with the rotation of the earth then hopefully we can preserve the corrections made. People are going ape shit with their emotional reactions not much different than how the stock market can tank in one breath then takes months or years to recover. People just need to calm the fuck down because it's not sustainable to keep the national guard or any other Federal entity in place forever. It did take 12 years for Federal troops to pack up and leave the South. I think we are talking weeks or perhaps a few months until the hooligans learn to quit burning the place down.

As far as Presidential voting. Austin is 70 to 30 Democrack. Houston is still very close to 50/50

Dallas and San Antonio are 60 to 40 Democrack...

I have been following these cities the last 5 elections back to Obama when these cites went Democrack...except Austin, it has always been a Liberal City...

So far other than L.A, there has not been any major looting/rioting under Trump. This might change when the Guard gets to these cities. So far it has worked good in DC.

I guarantee you the nastiness will be stoked by paid agitators. Time to get to the bottom of those conspiring to create civil unrest that results in destruction and death.

Well damn, there's that common sense thing showing up again.....

I lived in Houston for 4 years of my 25 in Texas (in the 80s), and had it in my territory for another 5 with weekly visits. On the NW side. It was a metric shit ton more conservative then than it is now

That’s a direct relationship to their source of funding which has been cut off
