Hi,

I have an N24CL52 on order and read a bit more. There's still time to cancel the order, but I would need to do that by tomorrow.

I don't need the ePoE length, 300ft are fine with me with a normal PoE. Can I use the N24CL52 on a normal PoE switch for 300ft, or do I have to buy an ePoE switch to use any PoE feature?

Thanks.

The limitation is not the power; it's the Ethernet cabling standards that limit the total length of cabling to 100 meters. The furthest distance a PoE switch can transmit simple data over Ethernet is a distance of 100 meters
100 meters is 328.084 feet.

ePoE is a marketing term created by Dahua. It’s not a standard.

Any PoE switch will work so long as the distance is 100m or less.
