Used Dell i5-4460 for Blue Iris?

Just had a client call me, she's fallen on hard times and wants to sell her PC (and Acer monitor & Cyberpower UPS) that I sold her March 2015. It's a Dell Inspiron 3847 mini-tower desktop PC (not SFF) with i5-4460 Processor, 8 GB RAM, 1TB hard drive.

Since it's a 4th gen CPU and specs say it has Quick Sync video, do you guys think it would make a decent BI server for a dozen cams if the price is right?

EDIT: O/S is Win 7 Home Prem 64 bit

Not worth more than 80 bux to you...i would pass....i have been able to purchase i5-6500 elitedesk systems for 185....with windows 10 pro..her best bet is craigslist.

Is that an HP? Could you give me certain model to look for? I know you’ve mentioned Dell before and getting a used one.... I’m a recovering Mac Fan Boy that’s interested in getting a PeeCee for BI. What would you be looking for? I’m assuming we’d all want i5 or better and room for more than one HD or maybe SSD plus two mechanical drives for Media.

look for the hp elitedesk or prodesk...look for the tower if you want room for 2x3.5 see the wiki for processors..
