I have a NVR with 16 alarm input. I use an inter logic quick bridge that brings back wireless signals from wireless reed switches. The wireless reed switches can be configured to take a NC/NO signal from another source.... Like a motion sensor. This has me thinking. Could I connect one of these wireless battery operated sensors to a trail cam so that I can capture an alarm on my NVR with the trail camera is activated?
For example. Let's say I place the trail cam 100 feet from my house. I can change the activation on a battery wireless sensor with a jumper that outs in into a NC mode that requires you to connect a signal from a device (say a motion sensor or tril came) to the sensor. When the device is activated it sends a wireless signal to my quick bridge and then a wired signal to an alarm input on my NVR.
The question is..... Any ideas on where to connect on a trail cam?
