Hi folks.

I have just set up Blue iris software and have 3 amcrest 1080p cameras and 1 Samsung Smart cam. the Amcrest are PTZ cameras. When i use the PTZ arrows only 1 camera moves, does any one know how I can select the active camera for the PTZ controls?

Many thanks.

Any help? am I the only one with this problem? i have another site with 3 identical iEgeek cameras, all set up identical, the one i set up first PTZ works no problems but the other 2 dont, same problem different site, is this me?

You need to click on the camera you wish to control.

hi thanks for getting back to me, I tried that, the camer goes in to the main screen so it is the active camera, the ptz buttons light up but when I press them I get nothing on any of the cams except the one I set up first.

when I use the provided (crappy) app, apcam all cams and ptz work :(

You have improperly setup the ptz tab for the cameras not working .. post the ptz tab for all your cams.

Set the onvif port on the non working camera to 5000 to match the working camera.

Yes a very good catch. I will test that as soon as I get home tonight. Thanks for your help, you too Pozzello

Hi, I changed the setting to 5000 but that didn't work either. in the end i deleted the cameras that didn't work and re-added them and now they work! very odd! must be something in the discovery process. Thanks all for your help though

Another happy ending in the IpCamTalk neighborhood!
