I've searched and found a thread from a while ago around this issue but it was from several years ago and didn't really seem to come to a conclusion.
My BlueIris has been working wonderful for at least a year until I started to get some weird playback, probably around the time the transition from DeepStack to Code Project AI (not saying this is the issue but noticed it after this). The camera would fire off and activate Hi-Res mode but once it clicked over, the person or car would vanish, yet the audio was still there. If I export the clip, it has the same behavoir. I have noticed if I scrub through the clip, which is with the low res video, the person/car are able to be seen. In order to resolve this, I usually just go and update the software and that puts everything back to normal for a while and then it just randomnly starts again. Any thoughts?
