Hi,

In low light with the IR on using a 2cd2132f-is dome the video has thin lines flickering within the image (see image below), the viewing area has particularly low/bad lighting and wondered if this was normal?

I have a pir flood light and the image is perfect when this activates but when it turns off the image is poor again.

I also ask if it is possible to turn off monochrome mode and keep the image colour 24/7.

yes that is normal and can be minimized by increasing noise reduction or adding IR light...but if you have actual light available its a much better option...use an led flood with a wide disbursement and keep it on all night..place the camera in day mode and it will stay in color.
