Hello,
I am hoping someone can offer me some insight. I have a DS-7616N1 Hikvision NVR. I have 4 IP cameras hooked to a POE switch. I have a cable connecting that switch to my NVR. It only recognizes one camera. Can anyone describe to me, with a little detail, what needs to be done to view the other 3 cameras?

Thanks.

Quite likely some incorrect assumptions, based on limited info, however ...

On the assumption that -
If you want to view the other cameras you mean via the NVR web GUI, as opposed to the NVR VGA/HDMI interface.
The switch is also connected to your LAN to which the PC running the browser is also connected.
The cameras are Hikvision cameras and have been 'Activated'.
You can already access each of the camera's web GUI via a browser so you know each camera's IP address and admin password.

On the NVR web GUI, under Camera Management, select each channel in turn and -
Use 'Modify' to set the mode of the channel to Manual instead of Plug&Play
Set the channel IP address to match that of the camera you want to appear on that channel.
Set the port to 8000, the protocol to Hikvision, and set the admin password.
Click OK
Proceed to the next channel.

Go to Live View on the NVR and you should see all cameras.

Your assumptions were correct. Sorry for not giving more detail.
Your solution was also - "Spot on!"
Thank you so much for your help.
