Hello,

This is my first post :)

I have the topology that can be seen on the attached screenshot.

I have 7 cameras each one hooked up to its respective Ubiquiti antena. The cameras can be viewed with no problems through the NVR on web browser and IVMS so Everything works fine for except one thing.

Is there a way to do a broadcasted voice talk passing through the existing NVR rather than doing the voice talk directly through each camera via the web browser or IVMS?

We can successfully talk through each being connected directly to any camera.

Hardware used:

Base station:
NVR: Hikvision DS-7716NI-ST
Ethernet Switch
Antenas: Ubiquiti Rocket M5

Each Camera station has:
Camera: Hikvision PTZ DS-2F1-783
Antena: Ubiquiti Powerbeam
Amplifier: Kramer 900xl
Speaker: Generic Speaker 35-50watts

Hope i can get any help thanks!

I don't have your NVR but mine has an audio in (mic) input on the back but it can only be used on one channel at a time not broadcast. Good idea though.

It has to be done remotely over the internet. So a mic connected to the NVR does not work for me :(

The point is that it seems it can only be done one channel at a time as far as I can tell.
