Wanted to Buy - IPC-HDBW4231F-AS - (Mini Wedge)

Yes, I already have/had it turned off. The one camera clearly had a hardware issue that was generating some electronic feedback. The newer one is fine.
 
Would this cameras be good to place on each side of your mail box to get vehicles that up and down the street?? My mail box sits right at the edge of my street and would like to be able to read tags but I'm not sure if this camera would be clear enough to do so. I like the small frame of the cam...
