I need to order an internal HHD for my Dahua NVR5208-8P-4KS2E. The documentation PDF says:
"SATA III Ports, Up to 10 TB capacity for each HDD". From everything I've read on this site, everyone suggests the WD purple HHD but that has a Sata connection. I know the SATA III connection is backwards compatible with the SATA connection so it will work, but in terms of write speed wise do I need to be worried about anything? I'm not doing anything special so I think I'll be ok, just running 4 Dahua IPC-HFW5231E-Z12E cameras and only want to record on motion events. I actually plan on recording to the camera SD cad and the NVR and then downloading all the videos in full quality off of the camera HD card every week or two so not sure I need such a large HHD and it does say "6 Gb/s"..
