Happy Thanksgiving

Well I wished Happy Thanksgiving to the occasional passenger boarding my bus today, and on the last run, there's a lot of employees going home. I said, " Happy Thanksgiving to a Native ( Ojibwe) gal who works at the Casino, and she reminded me that it's actually the opposite for the people in her community.
She called it a day of mourning.
So I'm grateful she didn't kick me in the balls and stomp on my head.
