you can see the orange square in the Alerts list, but it does not display in the playback window,
So i did some clicking and found " open AI inspector" ( never been here before) and there it was logging plate #'s in the AI window.

Isn't there a tick box for "License plates" in the AI tab for each camera, do you have that ticked?
yeah, I kinda like it now. confirmation of what my eyes think the numbers/letters are.
Having 3 days off every week gives me more time to hose this perfectly good BI system straight into the Crapper.

I WANT this feature! I just migrated to BI6; I have a particular Dahua from Andy that other members were using at the time for LPR... but I never really got their results. I'm not a 'poweruser', though I do have a bunch of cams. I don't spend the time or brain cells on BI that I really should. Witness that I last posted here a couple of YEARS ago.
I am looking for guidance on how to implement A.I. and maybe macros to autofocus on plates.

Also, a password issue on BI6. I'll do some searches...

The first part of AI to work correctly is having the camera set up to correctly capture plates.

If you are not getting the results from the camera, then AI won't be of any value.

Have you posted your day and night images and settings of your LPR camera? Certainly we can help you out. That is the first step.
