Another option is tightVNC using a VPN so there are no open ports. Use it all the time with various computers from my iPad.

For remote management I use TeamViewer.

For remote viewing I start OpenVPN client (server runs on my LRT214 VPN router) then log in to UI3 using the LAN access IP.
