What happens to continuous clips on Daylight savings switch ?

Wondering what happens to the hour we move back ? I notice the files are twice as big, yet when I view the clip they are still same 30 minute clip.

I did notice that if I re-started BI it then would show 2 separate clips as I think it should. They are different size as well. This never showed up in the clip viewer list till I restarted BI.

My clips are cut by size so I cannot comment on the clips list, however, the timeline properly displayed two 1am intervals with no restart required.
Blue iris is so good it even records the one hour we lose when we spring ahead

We discovered that it's not a restart, but a compact/repair that will correct the clip list.
