What is cheapest IP Cam POE with MIC to use the Audio only ?

Hi,

I only need the audio function through IP-POE.

Dahua don't make POE micro only. (with a function like motion detection but for audio that records when there is noise)

My idea is to use the cheapest camera only for audio.

What is the cheapest IP-POE camera to do this?

The cheapest IP camera off eBay or you could try looking for a cheap 'encoder'.
Encoders are designed to take a video feed and output an IP stream, commonly found as an analogue encoder for taking analogue camera and making it IP.

Probably more $$ for an audio encoder & mic.
Since your focus is audio - look for an IP cam with audio i/o's, then find a good surveillance mic.

I use one of these pinhole cameras that comes with a mic. I bought it with intentions of using Microseven mic but found the audio to be fantastic for my needs. If you do use the camera note that it does not have IR but does well with very limited light.
