What is the difference between IPC-HDW4231EM-ASE and HAC-HFW2231S ?

Hi,

I am looking for a cam to put inside my garage.
I have seen the HDW4231EM-ASE which looks good but maybe overkill for looking inside my garage.
Then I found this HAC-HFW2231S in EmpireCandy alisite, which seems to be a starlight cam, and is cheaper.

I tried to find a test of the latter one, with no luck.
What do you think? Is the 2231 good enough to put inside a garage?
The only issue I see on this cam so far is its lack of PoE support... But is is 40€ cheaper than the 4231.

That 2231 is an HDCVI camera, not IP

Not sure if this works with your setup but this is the camera I use in my garage. I primarily use it to see if my wife actually closed the garage door but also if someone happened to come in the garage it would record that as well.

I had seen "IP connectivity" on the aliexpress site, and did not know what HDCVI meant, sorry about that.
I actually own an Hikvision cube, it is great, and supports PoE. This is what I use in my living room over wifi though. Thanks for the hint.

Could also look at the IPC-HDBW4231F-AS | Dahua Technology - Dahua Technology. Smaller profile then the HDW4231EM-ASE. I think they are similar in cost.
