What is this wire used for?

Hello, just wanting to know what this wire is used for please, also is there a way to connect/wire a microphone directly to the camera?

Off brand/no name camera, so didn't think there would be a need for the model number.

The only number it has on the camera is "MC200J2" which is the cameras module version.

That is why i asked here, maybe i thought i would get an answer, maybe someone has the same wire on their camera, idk.

Then show us the full picture of the cam instead of a cropped one, camera 'forms' do not change often when rebranded

Do you see any configuration on "alarms" (in/out) on your camera (eg in the app/browser?)

There are no setting for an alarm.

The color is the tipoff: yellow with green stripe goes to earth ground, IMO...and confirmed with this Boavision on aliexpress.
