What port does Blue Iris use for Hikvision cams?

I am thinking of trying Blue Iris. What port will Blue Iris use to connect to Hikvision cams (no NVR) please?

Can BI use port 8000 like Hikvision iVMS4200?

It will use the port you assign in the camera configuration page. Yes, it can use port 8000.

No, it requires rtsp or onvif...why does it matter? Only hikvsion software is compatible with the media port
