Hi, can anyone tell me what th hell is going on here? I see this from time to time. It wasn't snowing or raining, it was a cold night.

My best guess is that it's warm air coming from around our poorly fitted windows.

I have a couple of the usualk spider webs which trigger my camera every nanosecond too!

IR reflection from fog, or maybe hvac system.

That's very normal when there is fog or even high humidity outside with camera's IR reflection off
the vapor in the air. If you turn off IR you will see them disappear.

I live out in a rural area with wetlands around me. That is a VERY normal occurrence here...

Same here. I see this in all 4 seasons at night. Humidity in the air.

When the fog is heavy, the swirls can be mesmerizing and fun to watch...

One way to help mitigate that is to use a separate IR illuminator mounted 3 or 4 ft away from the camera, then turn off the IR in the camera.

Hope that camera is intended as an overview camera, otherwise it is mounted way too high to capture many useful images.
