Hello,
today, I convert a video file, made from my Dahua SD59430U-HNI, with SUPER from .dav into a .mp4 container with h.264 codec (because Hitfilm Express don't know .dav container).
Then I cut the .mp4 video with Hitfilm Express into the parts I want/need.
Isn't there a video editor, which can do this to step in one = load .dav edit/cut and save as .mp4?
Greetings an Merry Christmas from Germany

P.S.: I renamed the file ext. from .dav. to .dav.mp4 and Hitfilm Express can handle it now, BUT after saving my video (resolution untouched = 2592 x 1520, 25p), the result "pumps" very often and is not as good in quality, as the orig. video. Any suggestions?
P.P.S: I tried now different bitrate (up to 100MBit, which reduced the pump time, but don't eleminated it... So Hitmaker Express is not the video editor of my choice for the Dahua videos :-(
