I have been using Geovision for close to 10 years. I switched over to VMS & the software is OK & I am wondering if there is something else better.
My setup is about 20 Geovision cameras & 16 3rd party (Hik, dahua, misc onvif). I am using an I7 PC with 32 gigs of ram. I have it running Geo with 32 cameras & then I have a VM on the same box running VMS on the VM.
I have been running it this way for about 8 months & it works OK.
VMS Pro (more than 32 cameras) is another 500 bucks so before I invest even more in Geovision should i consider other options?
