When the light hits just right....or wrong for security cams

I get the same on 2 cameras here... one in the morning and the other in the evening... they are mounted under soffits... when that's where you want to aim the camera and the sun maybe low in the sky at some point, what can you do? No visor would work for me... just have to live with it for the 20 minutes or so?

Almost looks like a tire superimposed over the camera view. What do you use to connect the cam back to your NVR? You have Cat wire or wireless setup?
That's funny, it really does... maybe a 185/60r14 on a steel rim?
I highly doubt Mrs. Bigredfish would allow Mr. Bigredfish to install any wireless cameras!

I believe I'm correct in saying the cam is viewing a house across the street, from bigredfish's house....that's not his house being viewed.
I think you are correct, I was just thinking about the cam that is on a tree aimed at my house at the time. Here is a PTZ picture from this morning with a view toward the east/southeast. Depending on the time of the year, it can be much worse for a short while.

I just get a thin circular rainbow. I'd like to zoom this camera in more, but then I'd have to angle it to catch more sun.
My neighbors know my cameras at "looking" at their houses... they don't mind. It probably depends on the relationship.
My neighbor, when he was alive, wanted me to point one of my cams at his house. I told him the cams were for my security not his.
My neighbor complains....until something happens at his house or vehicles then he wants to know if my camera caught it...
Think somebody up the road died. The sun sets on another life.
