Where do you set alerts/notifications for system events?

My brain seems not to be functioning today... Where is it that you can set actions/alerts/notifications for system events? I know that I've done it before but can't find that now.

Somehow, I think after some recent update, my startup settings changed to start up with a red shield. Didn't notice that I wasn't up and running last night after a restart and missed some recording that I wanted. I'd like to set things so that I get a notification whenever the shield status is red.

Kind of wish that BI would make that more prominent in some way beyond the little shield. Easy to miss that when you don't expect it to have been changed.

BI "Status" (the graph symbol upper left) => "Log" tab, click on button at bottom "Status alerts"; set up "Action set" if needed.
