Where to start with alarm/security systems install for business?

Hello, where is a good place to learn how to install and configure security alarm systems for business?

Is special license required for this, or general business license is enough?

I have been setting up security cameras for quiet some time and thought I may try security alarm setups but don't know much about them besides the concept seeing the sensors and blocks that local companies setup for my clients.

Depending on your location, a license may be required to be 'legal'.

It is pretty involved to install alarm systems as it's not as simple to program. Most installers use Honeywell, GE, or Elk systems. You also have to consider monitoring. If you are a legal business you might also need to update your liability insurance to cover you. (Think if the alarm system you installed failed and caused injury, death, or significant property loss.)
