which Ip camera to pick?

Hey guys,

Quick question:

Would you reccommend the IPC-HDW5231R-ZE or the IPC-HDW5231R-Z for outdoor?

I was reading a little bit about them, I see the cosmetic difference, the ePOE (which i won't utilize).
Also except the slightly bigger FOV and the 5x zoom, any other differences?

would you still recommend the z? or go with the ze?

Dahua Starlight IPC-HDW5231R-ZE 800 meter capable ePOE @looney2ns did a direct comparison of the two cameras.

Seems the differences are marginal and for most it comes down to the cosmetic appearance. I personally like the 5231-Z as it blends into the white trim on the exterior of my house. The all black face of the ZE would definitely pop out against white trim and be much more noticeable.
