Hello world !

I recently bought a Dahua camera which seems to be working fine when I use the (new) Lechange app on my iPhone. Thanks anyway for the advice I got here.
There is a possibility to store in the cloud, but this means paying for a subscription, which I do not want.
I have enough storage possibilities at home :imac, Airport Extreme, etc..
How can I record my images on my own system ?
I use Mac, latest MAC OSX, etc.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you beforehand,

W

You can make settings in the camera to store to a NAS.
Depending on the camera, you can install an SD card in the camera and record there.

Hallo mr Looney2ns,

I bought a Dahua A46 H.265 WiFi PT camera, as suggested by blake. I must say it works fine.
But I do not want to be dependent of a subscription.

Add a 128GB sd card to the A46. It can provide a lot of storage.

A NAS is a network attached storage. It is a diskdrive in a box with a RJ45 network connector. The A46 maybe able to use this.

DO NOT use cloud services.

Yes, install an SD card into the A46, then set it up to record to the internal SD card. No need for any cloud services.
