Why can't I purchase Blue Iris

So, I didn't find out any definitive answer. It doesn't explain why we can't buy it on iPCamTalk anymore. I did find out that I can go to Amcrest and buy it, which is one thing I did discover. But I do know that I can get it directly from BI, but for $25 more. Hmm.
If it works to buy it from Amcrest for $25 less, why would I buy it from BI directly, unless I'm missing something?

IMO, it's simply a neglected portion of the website. It really looks bad to have the "New..Blue Iris 5 Sale" banner, and when you click on it, it's sold out.
There will be no issues because it is a digital download and Amcrest, here and others are simply places BI made a deal with.
No issues, as wittaj stated, it was a digital download and received activation emails immediatly.
And there's this guy on eBay with 100% positive out of 900 ratings, located in U.S. Part of his description near bottom=>"The Blue Iris software is delivered to a Customer via Ebay message straight to his/her Ebay message Inbox, including the Download Link and a License Key."
