WiFi Doorbell - Audio Latency

Just wondering what audio latency you are getting in your WiFI Doorbells. I just installed an Amcrest video doorbell and during tested noted there was a noticeable delay, maybe a half second). Is this normal?

I can only speak about a Swann video doorbell I recently installed but I am experiencing the same issue. I'm now waiting for a type of video doorbell that does not require wifi and can be POE.

Cloud based devices will always have a round—trip delay. Look for one that allow to be connected directly to your home network (ip), preferably wired
